  Spectator Viewing Points

Spectators are not permitted in any of the Yorkshire or Welsh Forests - we have hired the forests on the basis that spectators will not be permitted. The route is kept secret from the drivers until the day before the start, who face nearly 50 competitive-sections on private ground in the style of the "first-day" of the Lombard RAC Rallies of the '70s and '80s with a highly-authentic 1,200-mile route.... but here are some key places where you can see the cars day by day:

Thursday November 25th. York Start, Holiday Inn, from 7.30am then Oliver's Mount Circuit, Scarborough, 10.0am. Lightwater Valley, Ripon, 2.0pm, Croft Circuit, 3.0pm, Hexham Market, dinner stop, 8.0-10.0pm, Carlisle Holiday Inn finish and parc-ferme, 10.0pm-12.30am.

Friday, 27th: Blackpool Promenade Sprint, 5.0pm. No other Selectif venues open to spectators on this day.

Saturday, 28th: Sweet Lamb, from 12.00 noon. Best place to see all the cars. Pont Rhydgaled, A44 7-miles from Ponterwyd. Followed by the Mid-Wales Activity Centre at 2.0pm, on the B4343, 12 miles south of Aberystwyth, Dolebolion farm in Pontrhydfendigaid village. Finish at Aust Services, Severn Bridge, 9.00pm. Cheltenham Promenade on the Lombard Finish Ramp, 10.0pm.
