The 1st REVIVAL RALLY - Reviving the Spirit of the RAC Rally - offers the clubman the opportunity of a true test of stamina and endurance in the style many thought had been consigned to the history books.
The 2004 Revival Rally was launched at a party at the Royal Automobile Club on Tuesday, October 14th, with a number of RAC Rally personalities among 90 attending. Pentti Airikkala, winner of the '89 RAC Rally, Stuart Turner, who accompanied Erik Carlsson's win in 1960, Tony Mason, who sat alongside Roger Clark to win in 1972, and other front runners such as Paul Easter, Willy Cave, and Tony Fowkes. A special film of rare archive footage and an exhibition of previously unseen photographs, sponsored by Safety Devices, proved a popular highlight.
